This is the Palace of Memory. It is a virtual architecture system intended to classify and remember all kinds of materials: tangible and intangible, own and other’s. It starts from the classification of my whole body of work as an artist, but the will on the long term is to establish a methodological proposal that can be used to order and study any other thing: my own works, works by other artists, and also other "objects" in the world that are not necessarily works of art per se: buildings, cities, living beings, historical facts, subcultural tendencies, etc.

The Palace of Memory is constituted by four pavilions. Each pavilion embodies a different way of classifying the works, and functions according to its own logic. In the central-upper part there is the Astrological Pavilion, where the works are classified according to the combination between zodiac signs and planets that occurred on the date of their conception. In the central-lower part there is the Genealogical Pavilion, where the works are classified according to the genetic relationships (precedents and successors) that are established among them. On the left side is the Taxonomical Pavilion, where the works are classified according to the inclusion relationships that they establish among them on a horizontal level, and distributed on four floors according to their degree of materialization. On the right side there is the Ontological Pavilion, where the works are classified according to their position within a certain cosmological structure that I suggest, that is determined by horizontal levels of contingent reality on the one hand, and by vertical axes of universal reality on the other.
